ewebguru revieweWebguru Review 2016: Today i want to share my very personal experience with eWebguru support team. I’m writing this ewebguru review based on my recent experience with them. Before i go in details let me tell you, i’m a customer of eWebguru since last close to 1 year from now. I bought a shared web hosting pack (Bronze Plan) from them to host one of my WordPress blog. When i bought the pack my WordPress blog was running a bit slow so i contacted their support team and as per their suggestion i raised a troubled ticket for the same. That was my very first interaction with their support team, and without calling them even once, they transferred my blog to a new server and my issue was resolved. Since then my blog was running fine with them.  After using their hosting services without any problem for the last eight months, i decided to host my next blog with them and thus i upgraded my subscription to Silver Plan.

Update-June 2015: I’ve moved my website from eWebGuru to Hostpapa. I was facing slow server issue since past few months and eWebGuru team was unable to rectify it. I also raised some tickets about my problem but they didn’t took it seriously and didn’t give me satisfactory answers. Hostpapa give me hosting for only INR 99 per month i.e $2 per month with a free domain for life. You can also get this deal from here.

The Problem I Faced

Every thing was working fine until i not installed the wordpress for my new domain name which i wanted to host with them. I was installing the wordpress using cpanel. Every time i try to install WordPress using Fantastico, the installation got failed. I was worried how to go about as i’m not a technical guy.

I contacted their support team over the chat. They suggest me to raise a trouble ticket for the same. Without any delay i raised a trouble ticket.

eWebguru Response Time on Trouble Ticket

I was surprised to see the response time. I got a reply on my ticket in less than half an hour. Usually in my experience other web host take upto 4 hours to reply to a ticket.  I got the following reply from them.

kindly check your wp-config.php file and correct your connection string according to your database username and password.

As i’ve already mentioned above that i’m not a technical guy so i requested them to take care of the job, and i reply the same on trouble ticket.

Note: I haven’t contacted them over the phone until yet.

In next less than four hour Mr.Kapil Garg, who is from eWebguru support team, replied to me that my site started working. After receiving the reply i checked the site and it was working fine.

The Real Big Problem

The real problem start when i found that my main site which i was hosting with them since last 8 month stopped working. It happened just after my problem was resolved. It was 10 P.M on Saturday, i reported the problem to eWebguru support team. The way they took this problem was remarkable. Their support team guy Mr. Kapil Garg started working on my site & worked on it until next one hour and finally made my site live again before 11 P.M.

I have never seen this kind of proactive response from a support team of any other hosting provider.

The Verdict

The main work of a web host is to provide you a server space where you can host your website. Managing third party applications like WordPress doesn’t come under their KRA. But still eWebguru take the job very professionally & make me super happy.
